RALEIGH, NC– Theatre Raleigh and Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre have partnered for the rock/jukebox musical— Rock of Ages on September 7th- 10th where rock was dominated by dudes in make-up with big voices, big egos and even bigger hair! Grab your Aqua Net- you won’t want to miss this raucously fun trip to the 80s.
This will mark the first time that the two organizations have joined forces and will be the debut of a Theatre Raleigh production under the stars.

Set in L.A.’s infamous Sunset Strip in 1987, Rock of Ages tells the story of Drew, a boy from South Detroit and Sherrie, a small-town girl, both in L.A. to chase their dreams of making it big and falling in love. Directed by Michael Berry and Choreographed by Abbey O’Brien don’t miss the heart-pounding hits of Def Leppard, Joan Jett, Journey, Foreigner, Night Ranger, REO Speedwagon, Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, Poison, Whitesnake, and more.
