Cary, NC—Town of Cary and Booth Amphitheatre officials are pleased to welcome back to Cary the North Carolina Chinese Lantern Festival for a third holiday season. Given the detailed nature of building and installing these intricate, spectacular structures the portion of the Symphony Lake Greenway through the Amphitheatre must be closed to ensure public safety.  Access to the Greenway will remain available, though a detour will take users through the trailhead parking lot, along Regency Parkway and back along the Amphitheatre access road to the lakeside of the trail. The detour route is shown below and also posted on the greenway gates at the Amphitheatre.

The seven week event opens to the public on November 24, 2017 and runs through January 14, 2018. The festival will feature more than 20 new displays, each one comprised of hundreds of parts, and thousands of LED lights.  Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased through etix.com or Booth Amphitheatre Box Office.
