In what has become a popular summer time favorite, "Movies by Moonlight" Series will return to the Koka Booth Amphitheatre for another stellar season, sponsored by WakeMed Health & Hospitals.

On Thursday nights from June to August movie buffs are invited to attend this family-friendly event that provides the perfect opportunity and atmosphere to sit back, relax and enjoy the stars of the big screen under the stars at one of the region's most popular venues.

For a mere $3, kids under 12 are free, patrons can bring a blanket/chair and picnic dinners inside the venue as the spacious lawn at Booth Amphitheatre is transformed in to an outdoor movie theatre.

Venue Gates/Box Office Open at 7pm and the movies start at dusk. Cash only. Come early and enjoy live music by some of the regions most talented artists!

In Huntington, West Virginia football is life and each season the town comes together to watch Marshall University's Thundering Herd. On one fateful night in 1970, seventy-five members of the football team were killed in a plane crash. This film follows the struggle of those who were left behind to deal with the loss.

An unusual Christmas present called a "mogwai" is given to Billy Peltzer (Zach Galligan) by his dad with three basic rules for caring for the pet: never get him wet, keep him out of bright light, and never feed him after midnight. When Billy inadvertently breaks one of the rules, the consequences multiply at an alarming rate that builds to an explosively suspenseful climax.

Be Safe This Summer! Bring the kids to this pre-movie safety event sponsored by The WakeMed Trauma Center's Injury Prevention Program and Safe Kids of Wake County. Kids learn how to be safe through fun, interactive games and activities, from fire safety and bike safety to seat belt fit tests and tips on calling 911. They'll meet Twinkle, the WakeMed Children's Center Mascot, Sparky the Fire Dog and other safety characters. Gates Open at 7pm. Adults are $3 and Kids 12 and under are FREE!
