Join your North Carolina Symphony for its outdoor summer celebration of music of every shade and style. Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre offers a dramatic backdrop for music that is out of this world – as well as costume contests, instrument zoos, picnics, games, prizes and so much more. Booth Amphitheatre will once again “jazz” up your spring with the return of a popular music series. The Hob Nob Jazz Series will take place every Wednesday evening from May 1 – 29 and feature local and regional talent from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
All seating and music will take place on the spacious Crescent Deck creating a casual environment to relax and mingle with friends.

Since December, we’ve been hard at work implementing some upgrades to our stage! After a decade of use it is time to replace our Alaskan Cedar with IPE and we guarantee it will look even more beautiful!

A Reel-ly Scary Cary is back for another “horror-ific” year at Koka Booth Amphitheatre! From October 23 – 27 horror movie enthusiasts are invited to attend this REEL-LY SCARY event. The towering pines at the Booth provide the perfect setting for spine tingling chills as patrons thrill to some of the most frightening classics on the big screen. Moonlight sets the stage for the horror to begin at the region’s most popular venue.
For a mere $3, kids under 12 are free (parents – please double check movie ratings), patrons can bring a blanket or chair as the spacious lawn at Booth Amphitheatre is transformed in to an outdoor movie theatre.
Gates open nightly at 6pm. Movies start at dusk.
Patrons are permitted to bring their own food and beverages to this event. Amphitheatre concessions will also be open and featuring these items: 2012 Special Events Menu.

We’re excited to announce the Pickin’ in the Pines Bluegrass series at Booth Amphitheatre!
Every Wednesday in September we’ll welcome a different bluegrass artist to our Crescent Deck from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. So come on by and enjoy some fantastic bluegrass music with drinks and food from our kitchen.
Feel free to bring the whole family! Tickets are only $5 for adults, and children 12 and younger get in for free! Tickets can be purchased at Etix.com or from our box office.

Sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson first showed the world that women can rock when their band, Heart, stormed the charts in the ‘70’s with hits like “Crazy on You,” “Magic Man,” “Barracuda,” “Straight On,” and so many more. Not only did the Wilson sisters lead the band, they wrote the songs and played the instruments too, making them the first women in rock to do so. Heart continued topping the charts through the ‘80’s and ‘90’s with huge hits like “These Dreams,” “Alone,” “What About Love,” “If Looks Could Kill,” “Never,” and a string of other hits that showcased the sisters’ enormous talents as musicians and singers.
Along the way, music by Ann and Nancy Wilson and their band Heart has sold more than 35 million albums, sold out arenas worldwide, and found its way into the soundtrack of American life through radio, motion pictures, television, and associations with branded sponsors. Today, songs made famous by Heart are heard in every aspect of contemporary culture.

This season’s annual Booth Amphitheatre Shakespeare production takes a historical twist on the timeless tale of love and tragedy.
ROMEO AND JULIET will view Shakespeare’s classic love story from a uniquely American perspective by setting the action during the American Civil War era. It was a time when deep seated hatreds blinded people to the love that surrounded them, sometimes even pitting neighbor against neighbor and family against family. It was a desperate time, when two young lovers might need to risk everything to be with their beloved before the world turned upside down. Given that we are in the midst of observing 150 years since the Civil War era, it seems particularly relevant to present this perspective now. Through Shakespeare’s text, the production will explore how the destructive power of hate and the healing power of love swept up everyone in its path, Northerner and Southerner, rich and poor, slave and freeman, young and old, and changed our world forever.

Cary, NC–Beginning on Tuesday, May 22nd, patrons that purchased a ticket to the May 5th Cary Baisakhi event will be eligible for a refund. Patrons who purchased a $10, $15 or $30 ticket IN CASH, can bring their ticket to the Amphitheatre Box Office anytime before June 30th to receive a refund.
Ticket buyers that purchased tickets with a credit card on etix.com, at the box office or over the phone, will have their tickets refunded automatically and do not need to visit the box office.
Refunds can only occur when original tickets purchased are produced.
Box Office Hours are Tuesday – Friday noon – 6pm
and Saturday from 10am – 1pm.
