    2009 SUMMERFEST SERIES

For the past 23 years the North Carolina Symphony has moved outdoors for the Summer months and calls Cary's Booth Amphitheatre home. While glorious sounds still pour forth from the symphony the atmosphere and audience vibe are a complete 180-degree difference from the structure of a concert hall. Summerfest attire is shorts and flip-flops. Your companions for the evening might be your children or neighbors and the food fare, a picnic under the stars. The 2009 Series featured fantastic concerts with the Orchestra and Special Guest Artists! Concerts were held each Saturday night with ticket prices ranging from $20 - $30 and kids 12 and under were free!
